Suggested Pairings of Cats...

The following cats pairs have special bonds and would love to be adopted together.  Most were surrendered to HART as a pair and have maintained their close relationship while living at the shelter and some have even been together since birth. These pairs deserve to live out the rest of their lives together in their forever homes. Please contact the shelter (207-829-4116; email: info@hartofme.com) to make an appointment to visit these wonderful pairs or stop in to any of our weekly open houses (see schedule on our Home page).

ADOPTED!

Molson and Corona-Young males
These handsome boys are about 8 months old and surrendered by their owners who could no longer care for them. Molson and Corona have lived with children and dogs, and do very well in an active and busy home. They are coon mixes and have medium length hair. Molson is the kitty in the forefront with the adorable little pink nose. His brother, Corona has the darker nose and is on the left side of this photo. These boys are active and playful, and just the "cat's meow" Please come to meet this nice pair of young men and get ready for the fun to begin at home!

Bacardi and Maggie- Adult male and femlae
The handsome tiger boy on the left is Bacardi who was rescued from a difficult living situation, and now calls the shelter his home. He is a mellow guy who has really come out of his shell and is anxious to find his new forever home. Just look at those big green eyes- they are asking you to please open your heart to him. His friend, Maggie has classic dark tabby markings and was rescued with Bacardi form the same home. She is still somewhat reserved. She has relaxed and mellowed in her time at the shelter, and  this pair of kitties would make a wonderful addition to a family with older kids, and a quiet home. We know Maggie would truly blossom with just the right environment, and lots of love, as long as her buddy, Bacardi came along too.
