Rusty- Adult male
Rusty is one of our very handsome seniors who has the charm of a well-bred southern gentleman. He is sweet and loving and just adores being pet. Rusty would love to live out his retirement in a quiet home with someone who will cherish and adore him…there isn’t a more deserving kitty! |
Tudder- Adult male
Tudder is a handsome six year old boy who came in with Tucker, his brother. Tudder has long fluffy hair, and is most;ly white, with just a splash of orange on his head, and some orange striping on his bushy tail. Tudder also has very clear pale blue eyes! This boy enjoys being groomed, and is a gentle soul. He is just a bit reserved when you first meet him, but enjoys your attention. he is used to other cats, children and even a dog. please come to meet him, and maybe even his brother, Tucker, soon! |
Tucker- Adult male
This big handsome dude is Tucker, and he has double paws, friendly and affectionate personality, and at the age of six, still loves to play. He came in with his brother, Tudder who has longer hair, but they do not need to go home as a pair. Tucker is soft and silky and those big paws just love to bat things around. He chirps now and again, and is really just a great boy! Please come to meet him soon.

Sahira-Young female
Sahira came to us with her brother and sister, Suki and Saki, when they were three months old. She startles very easily, and needs a quiet home. She is also extremely loving with both people and cats, but has to come to you on her own terms. She needs to go to a home with other cats that are affectionate and would be ok with her sleeping on top of them. She is playful and active.

Saki- Young female
Saki came to us with her brother and sister, Suki and Sahira, when they were three months old. She is very playful and active. She is not sure what to do around people, and will shy away. If she has another cat to take cues from, she will approach and allow you to pet her. She should go to a home with other cats, and a patient owner.

Clyde- Adult male
Clyde is a beautiful boy with a shiny black coat and gorgeous green eyes. He is a little timid right now, but we expect he will blossom in a calm, loving home. Clyde would be happy in a quiet home.

Lana - Adult female
Lana is such a pretty lady and so well-behaved! She is sweet and gentle and adores being pet. Lana came to us as a stray and is about two years old. She would do well in most home environments including those with other pets if care is taken to introduce her slowly.

Zoro - Young male
Zoro can be shy like his brother, Mercury, but he will love you after he gets to know you. He is playful, loves belly rubs, and just loves to bask in the sun. He was rescued from a barn in Lisbon. He is about 2 years old old and has adjusted quickly to life on the inside...playing and letting people handle him. He has a nice loud purr and is a very curious boy. Zoro likes to have his head scratched. Please call to meet this sweet young boy who has the potential to be a real love bug. Zoro doesn't have to go with Mercury, but they would certainly help to keep each other company! They both have been at the shelter for quite some time now and so deserve to find a loving home. |
Bessy- Young female
Look at those pretty green eyes! Bessy is a recent surrender who is only a bit over a year old. Her previous owner says that Bessy is loving, affectionate, talkative and playful. She is friendly to family, but shy with visitors. She would do best in a home where she gets lots of attention.

Jack- Adult male
Hello my name is Jack and I'm around 4yrs old. A very nice lady found me living in a barn on my own as my previous owners moved and forgot to take me with them. I was in kind of rough shape when she brought me to HART, and needed some eye surgery, but as you can tell, I am healing up nicely! I'm a loving young boy who likes to play and have a good time with people and other cats. I'm a big lover and will follow you all around the house. And look at my big double paws! Please come in and meet me - I'm here all day every day.

Angel - Young adult female
Angel is a young black kitty who was brought to the shelter last spring with her litter of kittens. She was a great momma, nurturing her babies until they were old enough to be adopted. Angel is a very timid girl who is not very comfortable around humans. She loves and has bonded with some of the other kitties she lives with, but is mostly scared. She would do well in a home with another young cat and lots of TLC and patience. Please open your heart to this special kitty. |
Weeza- Adult female
Weeza is a very pretty girl with a sweet and gentle personality. She is friendly and playful and is definitely a lap cat! Weeza would be happy in a quiet home with older children perhaps. Weeza would make a wonderful companion kitty.

Tessa is a beautiful short hair tortie girl with fabulous big yellow eyes that follow you everywhere. She is a wonderful kitty who gets along with other cats, and children too. Tessa likes to be the center of attention, and is very outgoing. Don't be surprised when she runs over to greet you and wants you to pat her!

April- Adult female
April is a gentlel long hair black beauty who has recently arrived at our shelter. Her former owner describes her as very affectionate and loving to everyone. She plays gently and loves hide and seek. She feared the family dog and peacefully coexisted with other cats. |
Little Man- Adult male
Little Man is a 2 year old tabby with a bit of white on his paws and chest. He was surrendered as he and his best bud Gary ...who has already found his new home...as they were having problems with the family dog. Little Man has gorgeous green eyes and a terrific personality. He sure is a handsome boy, and would love for you to come meet him and take him home! |
Ziggy- Adult male
Our sweet, adorable Ziggy is such a fabulous kitty! He has the cutest little short legs... we affectionately
call him our “Corgi kitty”. He is a lovable 2 year old boy that plays very gently and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Ziggy would be happy in most home environments, including other pets if introduced slowly.

Logan- Young female
Logan is a young girl who was brought to the shelter by a volunteer who found her wandering in downtown Portland. This poor girl is frightened and in need of a large dose of TLC and patience. We know she will come around, and just needs the right human to show her the way. Please come to meet our nice little Logan.

Rowan - Adult male
Just look at those big green eyes... aren't they asking for you to pick him as your new kitty cat? Rowan was adopted from HART as a tiny kitten not quite two years ago, and is still playful and an active boy. He needs lots of attention, wanting to be with you and made of frequently. He has lived with another cat, but the family who surrendered him due to having a new baby, feel he might thrive and feel more secure as an only kitty in the home. He has a big personality and enjoys being held. Very playful, but can get rough. Rowan has short silky hair and a very outgoing and affectionate personality! Please come meet him in person and get to really know him. |

Luna- Adult female
Luna is a beautiful gray striped Maine Coon mix lady who was adopted from HART as a kitten last summer and was returned as her owner could no longer care for her. Luna is vivacious and gorgeous. What more could you want in a cat? Look at those gold eyes and big paws. This lady is sweet and playful. She may be a bit reseverd when you first meet her, but is a very loving girl! Call soon to meet this great kitty cat.

Tiffy- Adult female
Tiffy was reunited with her brother, Spiffy, after he was rescued by a neighbor from a very abusive owner who was beating him against a fence. She is a beautiful little lady with a wonderful personality. She is loving and affectionate and would be very happy in a quiet home with her brother by her side. There are no two more deserving kitties! |
Spiffy- Adult male
Poor little Spiffy was rescued from a horrible home where a neighbor caught his owner beating him against a fence! He is such a sweet, loving boy who’s just a little on the timid side (understandably so!). Spiffy has a lot of love to give and would be very happy in a quiet home with his sister, Tiffy, by his side. After all they’ve been through, these two are very deserving of a loving home. |
