Gemini- Adult female
Gemini is a very pretty brown tabby girl who was surrendered by her owner. She is described as affectionate and loving. Gemini is kind of a couch potato, but she is certainly lively and full of mischief. She has a strong personality and may be best as an only kitty, or at least in a home where the other kitty is also a bit of an alpha personality. Gemini loves your pets and attention, and will reward you with a very nice loud purr!

Domino- Adult female
Domino is a beautiful big kitty with long fluffy hair and a very sweet personality. Her owner had to surrender her as she could no longer care for her. Domino has adjusted incredibly well at the shelter and is happy with the other kitties in her room. She loves to be brushed and loves to be right in the mix of things when people come to visit. Please come meet this beautiful lady for yourself.

Zoey- Adult female
Zoey is a very pretty patch tabby who has just arrived at the shelter. She is friendly and gentle, but just a bit timid in her new surroundings. Zoey has lovely soft autumn coloring and beautiful eyes. However, she would do best as the one and only cat in your home. .Please come soon to meet this nice girl. |
Denny- Adult male
Denny: came to us as an owner surrender. He is a short hair all black male that is 10 - 11 years old. Denny is super sweet and is just looking for a lap or cozy bed by the fire to snuggle in. Can't you please come in and bring him home with you?

Carly- Adult female
Pretty Carly is VERY sweet and loving. She’s a bit of the love-love-love-NIBBLE-love-love-love SWAT type. She loves to snuggle and lay close by and purr and relishes petting, often with her tongue sticking out, and gets super excited about play with feather toys. Carly would do best in a calm, child free environment with someone who likes cats with a lot of personality and attitude. Her foster mom would raise her voice to scold her for nibbling, and Carly would respond by batting at her hand without her claws extended, so she doesn't like being told what to do! But really- who does? So this is a kitty we affectionately call “a tortie with a tude"- but she is Miss Personality plus! Please come to meet this delightful kitty who is about a year and a half old.

Paco- Adult male
This nice mellow all black guy was a stray found in Portland. He is very friendly and playful. Paco was definitely someone’s pet before as he has been declawed. He is svelte with a long lean look to him that may be part Siamese. And just look at those bog yellow eyes. Come meet our handsome Paco soon and bring him home where he belongs!

Blake- Adult male
Blake was left on our doorstep one morning! We do not have any history on this poor guy, but he is finally relaxing a bit in our busy shelter. We estimate him to be about 3 years old. He has short gray and white tiger striped fur, gorgeous big green eyes and an adorable little eraser nose. Please come meet this boy and give him a new lease on life.

Jasmine II- Adult female
Jasmine II is a HART return who was adopted as a kitten (PomPom). She was very shy then and is even more so now. She will take a lot of TLC and patience to try and bring her around. She is a medium size black short hair female who is about 2 yrs old. Jasmine is looking for an understanding soul to open their heart and home to he.

Eenie - Adult male
Eenie is a big ole boy who is a rather independent guy, but does tolerate your affection. He is a handsome dude, that is for sure. He can play a bit rough at times, and sometimes would rather just be left alone. Eenie is in a room with other kitties, and seems to get along well with them. He is about 10 years old, and has quite a bit of energy left. Please call the shelter to met this boy who deserves a family.

Snoopy- Adult male
Snoopy is a new arrival to our shelter as an owner surrender. He is a nice looking, short hair, black and white guy who is about 6 years old. He gets along with other cats and is used to living with them. Snoopy is a nice gentle kitty who is looking for some TLC since he is not used to this type of living arrangement. He will make a loyal companion for you so please call soon.

Heidi- Adult female
Heidi is a pretty little white kitty with tiger patches. She is about 5 years old and is just starving for your attention. She is outgoing and personable. Heidi has a very short coat and is a very sweet girl. She is mellow and would do well with other cats, kids and dogs. Please call to meet this nice kitty cat! |
Bessie- Adult female
Bessie is a very cute black and white "cow" kitty who is about 5 years old. She was an owner surrender due to overcrowding and is still a bit reserved. She enjoys pets from the volunteers, but if someone new comes in she needs some time to warm up. Bessie will blossom in the right home with lots of TLC, and patience. Just look at her sweet face!

Puff- Adult male
Our big cream “Puff” is about three years old and looking for his forever home. He is gentle and sweet. Puff is a bit timid right now as he has just been surrendered to the shelter. He enjoys your pets and soft voice when approaching him, but needs a bit more time and TLC to truly blossom. We know Puff will do well in the right home where he has plenty of time to acclimate. |

Molly II- Adult female
Molly came to us when her owner developed some allergies. She is quite stressed at the shelter and would do best in a quiet home without young children since she can become somewhat aggressive when stressed. She is a beautiful girl with a little bobtail, who will need a gentle hand and lots of TLC. Please call to meet her and shower her with all of your love and attention.

Sapphire- Adult femlae
Sapphire is a beautiful patch tabby with unusual light color markings. She was surrendered by her owners after a tragic car accident. Sapphire is very sweet and has made a full for recovery after being hit by a car. She is friendly and gentle and is about five years old. |
Rags- Adult female
Rags is a 3 yr old Patch tabby who was surrendered by her owner and was quite stressed upon arrival, but has come around very nicely. She is now quite friendly and was moved into our Main room. She seems to get along well with the other cats but of course we don't know about dogs and children. Likely a home with older kids or adults only will be best for her.

M.J.- Adult male
M.J. is a big orange Maine Coon mix guy who has just come to the shelter as an owner surrender because they are moving and could not take him along. He is adjusting to this slowly and is looking forward to his new home soon. His owner described him as very sweet and a "big ole lap cat" and very particular about a clean litter box. M.J. also likes to carry on a conversation- he is quite "chatty". Please come to meet this nice guy soon.

Lucia- Audlt female
This very pretty girl was found as a stray in Cumberland this summer. She is about 3-4 years old and very unique looking. She is a patch tabby with gray stripes and lovely splashes of orange and pretty white accents. Lucia is loving and friendly and is anxious to find her new home soon.
