Sultan- Adult male
This handsome guy was surrendered due to allergies. His former owners describe him as: very active, friendly, affectionate, independent, and playful. Sultan is a gorgeous boy that definitely deserves to be treated like royalty! He is sweet, sweet, sweet! This kitty loves to play hide and seek, will fetch toys, and loves to chase bugs and moths. Sultan would be happy in most home environments, including other pets if introduced slowly. |
Louisa- Adult female
Louisa is a beautiful long hair lady with lovely calico coloring. She has just returned to the shelter from foster care, where her duties of raising four lively kittens are over since they all have found homes. Louisa would love to find hers now as well. She enjoys your grooming, but is a bit on the reserved side. Once she gets to know you she enjoys snuggling up near you, but still is not crazy about being picked up. Louisa was in foster care with an older couple so has been used to the quiet life. Before being brought to the shelter in April she was a stray in Portland when a kind soul brought the pregnant kitty to us. She has blossomed into a healthy and pretty kitty, and is very happy to be inside safe and sound! Please come to meet our lovely Louisa and offer her your TLC, and see what a wonderful companion she will be!

Tilly- Adult female
Tilly is a darling little girl with a sweet personality. She enjoys being with people and plays very gently. She
has been around young children and is very happy to accept their gentle pets. She loves to curl up on a nice, warm lap or bask in front of a sunny window. |
Tommy- Adult male
Tommy is a very handsome boy with a sweet, sweet personality. He is affectionate and loving and enjoys being with people. Tommy would be happy in a quiet home with no other cats, as he wants the love and attention all to himself!

Bailey- Adult female
Bailey is a gorgeous 2 year old old female kitty . She has come a long way from an under the bed kitty to one who sleeps with you and plays. Bailey is still a bit on the shy side, but has developed a bond with some of the cats in the room where she resides. She is ready for her new home, but will do best where she has another young cat to bond with who is already very social. Also, she will need to be given plenty of time and TLC in order for her to make an adjustment smoothly. We know what a sweetie Bailey can be, won't you come meet her and give her the permanent home she deserves? |
Rhett- Adult male
Rhett is adjusting to shelter life and is extremely scared. He was brought in by one of our volunteers who found him as a stray. We estimate him to be about a year old. He will need a family who will give him lots of time to adjust.

Pididdle- Adult female
Pididdle was found as a stray in OOB with a bad eye infection. The ruptured abscess resulted in the loss of her eye. She is a sweet girl who is a bit timid but warms up to people quickly. She would do best in a quiet home with other pets if introduced slowly. Pididdle is about 7 years old, and is just as sweet and gentle as can be.

Sneakers - Adult male
Sneakers is a very striking cat with his long black hair, big yellow eyes, and one white whisker! Sneakers is a bit of a loner, and not the first kitty you will notice in his room. He will come to you eventually with some patience, and needs a calm and gentle touch. Sneakers has been with us now for a bit, and truly deserves a second chance to find a home..won't that be you? |
Eenie - Adult male
Eenie is a big ole boy who is a rather independent guy, but does tolerate your affection. He is a handsome dude, that is for sure. He can play a bit rough at times, and sometimes would rather just be left alone. Eenie is in a room with other kitties, and seems to get along well with them. He is about 10years old, and has quite a bit of energy left. Please call the shelter to met this boy who deserves a family.

Eloise- Adult female
Eloise is a beautiful short hair gray and white tuxedo lady who has just raised her litter of kittens. She had 7 of them , and she is kind of glad for the peace and quiet right now! Eloise is playful and affectionate. She was a fabulous momma cat and very protective of her kittens. She is now at the shelter and integrating with other kitties.Please call soon to meet this very pretty lady! |
Midnite- Adult male
This handsome big black guy was surrendered because his owner is being deployed over seas. Midnite’s previous owner describes him as very affectionate, friendly to family, shy to visitors, talkative, independent lap cat. He is a very playful cat and loved interacting with the other cat in the house. They adored each other and would sleep together. He has been around children and was good with them. Midnite would do well in most home environments given time to adjust.

Zriiya-Adult female
Her previous owner says that Zriiya is shy by nature. It took her 3 months to come out of hiding. Mostly she watched the owner and would let her owner pet her, but did not like being held. Once she becomes comfortable with you she will like to sleep with you and sit in your lap. She does not jump on counters-she has great manners. She would do best in a quiet home preferably with a single person. |
Jessica- Adult female
Jessica is an adorable little girl who’s a bit on the quiet side, but loves people and enjoys lots of attention. She would be happy in a quiet home with older children and perhaps even another pet, if introduced slowly. Jessica would make a wonderful companion cat. |
Winnie- Young female
Winnie is a very pretty all gray girl who was returned with her buddy, Chanel as their owner had to move and could not take them. She is playful and friendly, and loves to be close to you. This kitty has some Russian Blue in her as just look at her gorgeous sleek gray coat.. Please call soon to meet Winnie and her lovely "mom", Chanel.

Molly II- Adult female
Molly came to us when her owner developed some allergies. She is quite stressed at the shelter and would do best in a quiet home without young children since she can become somewhat aggressive when stressed. She is a beautiful girl with a little bobtail, who will need a gentle hand and lots of TLC. Please call to meet her and shower her with all of your love and attention.

Bradley- Adult male
This handsome guy was brought in as a stray from OOB, but is adjusting to being in the room with other cats. Bradley he has a wonderful personality. He loves to be pet and we think he will make a good companion once he settles in. |
Chanel Adult female
Chanel is a very beautiful long hair solid gray kitty who was recently surrendered back to HART due to her owner's moving. She is a playful kitty who is used to another cat. She came back with her surrogate daughter, Winnie, a young all gray 1 yea old kitten. These lovely ladies are affectionate and enjoy your attention. Please call to meet our lovely Chanel...you won't be disappointed!

Barney- Adult male
Barney is a nice orange and white short hair guy who was left at the shelter with a few kittens one night. At first we assumed he was their mom as he was loving and affectionate toward them, however we quickly learned he had some male parts that needed some alterations! Barney was neutered and then had a title set back with an infection. He is recovered now and is ready for his new home. His kids or younger siblings that he came in with have all been adopted, but Barney is still waiting for his forever home. He is a nice laid back boy who is a bit timid in his new surroundings. Storm- Adult female
Storm was surrendered due to elderly owner moving to nursing home. Her former owner describes her as: couch
potato, and friendly to family and visitors. Her former owner loved her dearly, but sadly had to give her up. Storm is a very sweet lady with a wonderful personality. Storm would be very happy in a quiet, loving home, She would make a wonderful companion cat! |
Baxter- Adult male
Baxter’s previous owner describes him as a couch potato, lap cat, friendly with family and shy with visitors. He likes to watch TV with you while you scratch his belly. He likes calm and quiet and is a very good companion for a single person, asking only for frequent brushing and petting This handsome orange guy is a true mellow yellow kitty! |
Mercury- Young male
Mercury is a very handsome black and white boy that can be quite shy, but he warms up after a little while. He loves to be pet, loves to play, and has enormous paws. He is just about three years old and was rescued from a barn in Lisbon where he and many others were being cared for by a farmer who just had too many living there. Mercury and his brother, Zoro, have been with us for quite some time and both have made lots of progress toward living life happily on the inside. He is very playful and active. When he goes to a new home, he will need someone with a little patience and lots of TLC to bring him around so that he is comfortable. Please come to meet this handsome young man who so deserves a chance at a happy life! |
Star- Adult female
Star is a beautiful girl that came in with her mirror image brother, Mercury. They were both very timid when they came to HART, but have now become quite social and enjoy being pet. Because Star came from a cat colony that lived in a barn. we feel she would be most happy in a home with older children and perhaps her brother, or another kitty, by her side. |
Anna Mae- Adult female
Anna Mae is a big, beautiful torti girl who is just as sweet as can be. She is playful and affectionate and loves lots of attention! Anna Mae can sometimes get a little feisty when she plays, so she should be in a home without young children. Anna Mae would be happy in most home environments. |
Back Order- Adult male
Sweet, adorable Back Order came by his name because he was found living in a warehouse. He is a gentle
boy with a heart of gold. Back Order would be happy in a quiet home with older children or perhaps other pets, if introduced slowly. |
Miss Kitty- Adult female
Miss Kitty is a very pretty and petite young girl recently surrendered to the shelter as her owner could no longer care for her. She is all done raising her brood of six kittens, and it is finally time for her to blossom in a loving home with the attention on her. She is laid back and gets along with other cats, kids, and dogs. Please call soon to meet this pretty little dilute tortie girl.
