Mittens- Adult female
This pretty kitty is a six year old female who was returned by her family as she was being terrorized. Mittens is an orange tiger with white mittens and bib. She is quite gentle and sweet and very affectionate. As with many orange kitties, she has a story to tell with her cute chirps and meows. Please come to meet our nice girl, and bring her home to shower all kinds of TLC on her.

Kit Kat- Adult female
Pretty little Kit Kat is a short hair black and white tux girl. She is about 2-3 years old and is still a bit shy in her new surroundings. Her former owner described Kit Kat as a clown, very playful and affectionate. She loves to be touched, but has to come to you on her own terms.Kit Kat would love to make a home with you soon so please call to meet her.

B.D. -Adult female
BD was brought to the shelter by her owner who could no longer care for her. We are not sure exactly what BD stands for, but we are going with Beautiful Diva because she is one. BD has lovely soft muted colors and and a gentle personality to match.She is a sweetie, but having a bit of trouble adjusting to shelter life. She is not used to all the activity and is just a bit timid right now. Her former owner describes her as a love so we know she will relax and be one here, too.

Maizey- Adult female
Look at this lovely Maine Coon lady! Maizey has wonderful coon markings and their laid back and wonderful personality. She is very loving and affectionate and wants to be around you all of the time. She enjoys being pampered and groomed, and has a wonderful loud purr. Please come to meet this pretty girl soon! |
Tiger Lily- Adult female
Tiger Lily is yet another pretty momma kitty who has come back to the shelter after raising her litter of kittens. This pretty kitty was found outside with her month old babies, and brought to HART by one of our very own caring volunteers. Tiger Lily is not too sure if this was a good thing or not as she had been fending quite well on her own! However, she is loved and safe and warm, and beginning to trust our volunteers. She is rather timid right now, and would do best with a very quiet home where she would be allowed to adjust at her own speed. Tiger Lily is not very old, only a year or two, and is such a pretty girl. Please consider opening your heart to this kitty who needs to trust again, and once she does, we know she will be your friend forever! |
Charlotte- Adult female
Petite little Charlotte is a young momma kitty looking for her forever home. Her six babies have all found theirs and she is anxious to get one very soon. Charlotte is a pretty tortie kitty with short silky soft fur. She is playful and sweet and gentle. She gets along well with other cats, kids, and is very laid back so would probably do well with dogs too. She is just adorable so come to meet her very soon.

This pretty kitty came to us as a stray. She is all white and very serene and gentle. Monet seems to get along with other kitties, and enjoys your pets and affection. Please come to meet this nice girl and bring her home soon.

Satina is an all black kitty with a bit of white on her chest. She is about two or three years old and is super friendly, playful and cute. She has glossy short hair and is a real sweet heart. Please come to soon and take this nice deserving kitty home with you.

Aquila- Adult femlae
Please meet our lovely Maine Coon mix lady. Aquila has recovered extremely well from her car accident, both physically and psychologically. The only remnant is a slight startle posture at sudden movements. But hold your hand out for her, and this lovely girl will rub and rub back and forth under it for as long as you'll stay around! She does love petting, but sometimes gets slightly enervated, and her face rubs can turn to "love bites". She's become curious about a "string-on-a-stick" toy, but has never been an all-out player. Her strategy is more "stalk and dart". She's used to having an open bowl of food around, as she's more of a nibbler than a meal eater. She'll probably find one favorite spot, slightly out-of-the way, where you can almost always find her. She may not come out to greet you, but will reward you if you make the introductions!

Katty- Adult female
Our adorable Katty is one of our residents with a "strong personality"! She is a classic black and white tux lady with an adorable pink nose. Katty has a unique deep voice for a kitty cat, and loves attention, but on her terms. she just needs to be with someone who really understands cat body languge and is very sensitve to cats. She is what we call touch sensitive, and easilly overstimuated. She needs to be in control of the affection that is being given, but if it is on her terms she can actually be really sweet. Her short hair is soft and silky, and when she wants you to notice her she reaches her paw out to pat you! Katty is a good girl and would love to find her forever home as soon as possible. Sophie- Adult female
Sophie is an all black girl who was recently surrendered as her owners were moving. She came in with her buddy, Truman, who was older than she and has since passed away. She is a bit quiet and depressed at this point and is really looking for just the right family to love her, and make her a part of their family. She is a nice, playful girl who needs a new lease on life - please consider giving her the home she deserves!

Molly- Adult female
This Molly is a large tiger tabby lady who is 8 yrs old. One of our volunteers rescued her from a neighbor who first abused her and then abandoned her to the elements. She came in with an inch (no joke) of flea dirt over her entire body. She spent some extra time in Intake getting extra care to be sure she hadn't suffered any unknown injuries or complications. She is a loving, forgiving kitty who deserves so much more than life has shown her so far. Lets show her that humans aren't all bad.

Betty- Adult female
Betty is a very pretty tortie lady who is about 7 years old. She was surrendered by her owner as she did not like to be picked up by her young children. She isn't aggressive at all but very wiggly and squirmy. She loves to be brushed and petted. Betty is quite playful and enjoys feather toys and catnip. She will do best in a family without small children, but does get along with doggies.

his pretty tuxedo lady is looking to find her own home now that her babies have all been adopted. Cantania is quiet and gentle and would make a great companion kitty. She enjoys your attention on her terms, but gets along great with other kitties. Please come to meet this nice girl soon! |
Phoebe- Adult female
What a pretty girl Phoebe is. She was surrendered by her owner due to some over crowding in the home. She is an independent girl who does get along with other cats, but is described as being a bit fresh! Phoebe has lovely green eyes and loves your one on one attention. Please come to meet this nice little lady
